At Spordy (“we”, “us” or “our”), we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use Spordy. References to “Spordy” include the mobile application and the website, when applicable. All references to “you" or "your," we mean the person who uses the Spordy in any way; including individuals or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using Spordy, as applicable. By using Spordy, you agree to the following Privacy Policy. If you do not or are unable to agree to this Agreement, you are not permitted to use Spordy.
We collect the following types of information when you use Spordy:
Personal information that you provide to us when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and location.
Information about your use of Spordy, such as your activity on the app, your favorite sports and levels, and the content you post.

When you use our location-enabled services, we may collect and process information about your mobile device's GPS location and the time the information is recorded, to customize the Spordy services. You can withdraw your consent for this feature by disabling the GPS or any other location-tracking functions on your device.

Provide and improve Spordy's services and features.
Communicate with you about Spordy and respond to your requests.
Personalize your experience on Spordy such as showing events near you and tailor content and recommendations to your interests.
Analyze trends and usage patterns to understand how users interact with Spordy and to improve our services; and also use them for advertisement purposes.
Protect the security and integrity of Spordy.
Sending push notifications based on the User’s geographic location and for the purpose of direct marketing. Users may in most cases opt-out of receiving push notifications by visiting their mobile application settings.
We may also use your information for other purposes that are disclosed to you at the time we collect the information, or with your consent.
You can register for an account on Spordy using your existing Facebook, Google, Twitter, or other third-party site accounts. When you link your Spordy account with your third-party site account, you understand and agree that Spordy will obtain certain personal information from your third-party site account, such as your "real" name, email address, profile picture, names of friends, names of groups to which you belong, and other information you make publicly available via the applicable third-party site provider.
Spordy will use this information to create your account and profile page on Spordy, subject to the privacy settings that you have set on your third-party account. The information from the third-party account will be available on your account at Spordy, subject to the permissions granted by you and the third-party site service provider.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are entitled to disclose your third-party account login information and that you are not in breach of any terms and conditions of the applicable third-party account. Spordy will not be responsible for any unauthorized access to or use of personal information that results from your disclosure of your third-party account login information.
We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate Spordy and provide our services. These service providers may include:
Cloud storage providers for storing and processing data.
Payment processors for processing transactions.
Analytics providers for analyzing usage patterns and trends.
Marketing and advertising partners for promoting Spordy and tailoring advertisements to your interests.
We have the right to photograph, videotape, or otherwise capture or collect your likeness, voice and sounds (the "Content") during your participation in the Spordy program, event or activity. You acknowledge the Content to be works made for hire, and otherwise irrevocably assign and grant to Spordy all rights in this Content and the right to use or sublicense the Content and your name, likeness, and biography, in our discretion, in all media and in all forms and for all purposes, including without limitation, advertising and other promotions for Spordy.
We may also share your information with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, or other third parties if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or the rights of others, or investigate and prevent fraud or other illegal activities.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. We ask you to not share your password with anyone as you are responsible for keeping this information confidential.
Spordy is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information as soon as possible.

You can modify or delete the personal information associated with your Spordy account at any time by logging in to your account and making the necessary changes.
You can opt out of receiving promotional emails from Spordy by following the instructions in the email.
You can control the use of cookies on Spordy by adjusting your browser settings and set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have operations or where we engage service providers. By using Spordy, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to countries outside of your home country, including to Canada, where our servers are located.
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. We may also retain certain information after you have closed your account with us, for example, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Refer to Terms of Use section, for use of your information in case a third party is used for registering an account.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the mobile application. Your continued use of Spordy after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
